Lecce City Terminal is in front of the main location (Hotel Tiziano) of the congress, located at the northern entrance to the city and offers shuttle service to Brindisi Airport and vice versa. The facility also has a tourist information point and a parking area complete with a camper van bay. In addition, major direct routes to all locations in the Salento region depart from Lecce City Terminal.
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Once arrived at City Terminal, there are several local buses, which connect to the railway station (Stazione FS) and to the city centre. Detailed touristic maps of the city are available here.
Bus line M1 connect City Terminal to railway station (Stazione FS) and vice versa, with intermediate stops in the historical city center.

WHAT TO SEE IN SALENTO
The territory of Salento is known for its extraordinary natural, cultural and architectural richness with stunning and must-see destinations like Otranto, Gallipoli, Castro, Santa Maria di Leuca and so on.
Some details to reach the main tourist places are given below, however, schedules and stops may be subject to change depending on the period (i.e, school period, summer period).
Otranto
Otranto is the easternmost town of Italy, with an old city centre of unique beauty, on the Adriatic coast. Reaching Otranto from Lecce is very easy:
- by car (road distance of about 40-45 km): you can rent a car from various companies, book a private shuttle service or take the East ring road in the direction of Otranto. After about 30 km, you have to take the exit Maglie-Otranto and head towards the desired destination.
- by train: from Lecce station rely on Ferrovie del Sud-Est. You will arrive directly to Otranto passing through several intermediate stops;
- by bus with routes managed by:

Salento Link (operated by FSE – Ferrovie del Sud-Est).
Gallipoli
To get to Gallipoli, there are different options:
- by car (road distance of about 40 km): you can rent a car from various companies, book a private shuttle service or take SS101 from Lecce in the direction of Gallipoli, until the exit Gallipoli and head towards the desired destination.
- by train: from Lecce station there is a scheduled service operated by FSE – Ferrovie del Sud-Est via local trains. You will arrive directly to Otranto passing through several intermediate stops; schedules and stops also available on the official Trenitalia website;
- by bus with routes managed by:
