All attendees must register to receive the conference badge which will give them access to the conference activities. Please read through the registration instructions carefully before registering. Registration is done through an online registration form.
REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fees are indicated in the table below. Deadlines refer to the date of registration with actual payment. Registration fees are fixed and include any eventually due taxes.
Registration fee includes:
- access to scientific sessions and exhibition areas;
- lunches on days with full afternoon sessions (according to program);
- coffee breaks and refreshments (according to program);
- welcome party on Sunday;
- guided tour of the city and aperitif in town (city reception) on Wednesday.
Please note that costs for travel and insurances are not included in the registration fees.
Accompanying person fee is 140 € (per person) and includes welcome party, guided tour of the city with aperitif in town (city reception), and the conference social dinner.

* Members of the European Aerosol Societies (https://www.info.gaef.de/eaa-members) affiliated to the European Aerosol Assembly (EAA), will be equated to and considered members of the Italian Aerosol Society (IAS) for the year 2025. A confirmation of awareness of this aspect will be required in the registration form.
** Scientists that are not members of a European Aerosol Society can choose to become member of one of the societies before registration to EAC2025 or can ask to become member of IAS during registration paying the “EAA member fee” plus an extra cost of 70 € that is the annual cost of IAS membership.
*** Proof of student status will be required in the registration form. In order to promote IAS among the young researchers, a free membership to IAS for year 2025 is offered to all students that are not members of any European Aerosol Society. An option to accept the membership will be available in the registration form.
To limit “no show” in the scientific sessions, the oral presenters will be asked to register paying the fee by July, 31st. If not registered by this deadline, the oral will be automatically switched to poster presentation and the oral slot will be reassigned.
FELLOWSHIPS FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS
EAC2025 organisers offer 12 full waived fees for young participants (i.e. less than 35 years old) coming from locations as low-income economies (as defined in https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/opendata/world-bank-country-classifications-by-income-level-for-2024-2025). To be eligible for the waived fee you have to send an email to eac2025@iasaerosol.it attaching your CV and a motivation letter within 31/03/2025. A selection will be made by the EAC2025 local organizers. Please note that no financial support is foreseen for travel, accommodation, social dinner, or any expense other than the conference fee.
A number of conference events and excursions have been planned. The social dinner can be booked and paid during the registration process (at a cost of 65 € per person). The other events will be activated if a minimum number of participants is reached. During registration it will be possible to book one or more of these events at the cost indicated. Successively, when the minimum number of participants is reached, you will receive an e-mail with the instruction to perform the corresponding online payment.
PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION
Full payment of the registration fee is required in euros (EUR) prior to the congress. When registering online, you will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email. Please note that invoicing will end two weeks prior to the event.
If you wish to have specific items (such as dinner or other events/excursions) paid separately, please contact: eac2025@iasaerosol.it to arrange for booking and payment of these additional extras.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
At the end of the registration form, you will be given two alternatives for payment:
- Credit card: Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
- Bank Transfer: You will receive a payment slip with the amount and the banking details for the transfer. After receiving the payment, the IAS association will issue the appropriate receipt/invoice in compliance with legal requirements. All payments must be made without any bank charges being applied. Bank drafts as well as personal, traveller’s or company cheques cannot be accepted.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All cancellations and changes must be made in writing (email) to the Scientific Secretariat Dr. Carole Lecerf eac2025@iasaerosol.it.
If a cancellation of registration is received by June 15th (2025), a processing fee of 50 EUR will be charged. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after June 16th (2025).
Please note that no-show does not constitute cancellation. In case of no-show, the registration fee will not be refunded. Inability to attend the conference does not grant right to reimbursement of the paid fees, so please stick to the cancellation policy above. The registration can be transferred to another person from the same organisation by informing eac2025@iasaerosol.it.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
If you require a certificate of attendance from your conference participation, you can request it to the conference secretariat during the event at the registration desk. Certificates will not be sent or provided automatically, so be sure to collect yours at the conference venue.
VISA INFORMATION
Visa information and visa application forms can be found at the website https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/en. If you need an invitation letter to apply for your visa, please send your request to eac2025@iasaerosol.it after you have registered to the conference and paid the registration fees. We only provide invitation letters to registered participants.
